2026 Northumbria Masters cancelled

Two days ago I was emailed to say entries were open, today I have another email to say it's cancelled. Does anyone know what happened?

Thanks, Roger. That's the same wording as in the email. But the cancellation has happened just two days after entries were declared open, which is really very odd indeed.

Tim's got a lot on, and my impression getting to know him in the NCCU over the last 3 years or so, is that he tries to do too much; his extra term as NCCU President finishes at the end of this month, and he's stepping away from involvement with the NCCU

He's the driving force behind the Northumbria Masters, so maybe not surprising there's no-one to take it on in the short term

Well, it's a great shame, as Tim ran an excellent event. I attended last year and enjoyed every minute of it.
