On his day, Dubov is capable of producing chess to equal anyone in the world, particularly at faster time controls. I do fear he would be a bit lightweight for the Candidates.
It further simplifies Candidates qualification, as Pragg should get the FIDE Circuit 2025 spot

Erigaisi and Aronian are both 2700+ as are Le and Sindarov

Wei Yi is through, so we may yet see two seeded players reach the quarter-finals. If so, they will play each other.
