I played the previous weekend, I found the hotel and venue one of the better 4NCL venues I have played at in recent times; playing conditions were excellent (very spacious) and the room I got was very large and covered all the bases (bed, decent bathroom and good WIFI)
Admittedly we arrived on Friday so check in wasn't a problem; there were queues from 1pm onwards when the bulk arrived, it looked like they were getting people through as quick as they could with the staff available; but the 2pm check-in is a general rule in hotels I have been, and I would say a good few times I have had to wait until after the game to get my key card etc.
Food wise good to hear the restaurant was decent, we just had the bar food on Friday (was decent enough); decent Indian across the canal, food was excellent, though couldn't pre-book and they were very busy so service lacked a little

Re: 4NCL 2025-26 Division Three Knights
All the debate about the Copthorne Hotel has, for some reason, come to reside in the thread for 4NCL Division Three Knights.
All the Weekend One matches were played here so the discussion is appropriate for all threads. The proper place for this is in the 4NCL 2025-26 generic thread rather than a thread discussing a specific Division.

Cats refuse to be herded! It has been interesting hearing about different standards people have and hikes across canals and into the wilds of Northampton.

Divsision Three Knights winners were Poole Patzers by half a game point from CSC/Kingston 2. Both had 16 match points.
