Importing ECF Calendar

Post by Paul McKeown » Mon Jan 02, 2017 7:27 pm

Has anyone synced the ECF Calendar with Google Calendar? It fails for me with the following message:
It doesn't have to be Google Calendar, any easy way to sync with any calendar app that I can use under Android (which I can then sync with Thunderbird or Outlook on my PC), and I will be happy.

Any help appreciated. Thanks!

The .ics file imported into an ancient version of MS Outlook seemingly OK. :D

A few error messages were reported but the window displaying them disappeared before I could screen grab them.

Not tried Google calendar but there are differences in the allowed ICAL tags between calendaring formats.

By that, you mean you clicked the "Subscribe" button at the bottom of the page and chose the "Add to MS Outlook" option? This then imported the whole calendar?

Yes, just imported the whole calendar using .ics. Clunky, but better than a method which simply fails!
