I hope someone is doing commentary in Swahili. Aren't FIDE supposed to be promoting chess in Africa?

Listening to Boris Gelfand discussing the games is like getting free tuition. He seems to be teaching Kosteniuk a thing or two as well.

What is Boris saying about Vishy's game? Seirawan / Dlugy think it will get violent.

I'm not sure what Vishy has in mind if black responds to Nc4 with Nc5 (sorry, no idea what move number it is) regaining the pawn with what looks like a promising position. Maybe he has Be3 at the right moment liquidating out of any middle game problems.

I'm sure that Topalov was tempted, especially as the alternative doesn't seem anything more than a bit of play for a pawn.

Barmy isn't it. Presumably it's deliberate to not put the game score up, with the result that nobody can follow properly.
