Oh goodness, hate to say it but I think that tops the lot! Well, maybe not Kramnik's mate in 1.

I do wonder if this sort of thing doesn't affect all levels fairly equally - the moves being somehow produced are of course far beneath the usual standard of competence of even a random club player :(

Bit of a shame for Navara in a way that he couldn't finish Giri off but Giri did seem to defend awfully well.

Looks like Giri- Caruana will be a win for Caruana, but these R and P endings are so tricky.

Mamedyarov seems to have quickly forgiven himself for that lapse.
He has White against Michael Adams next, which should be a clash of chess cultures.

In the Challengers WGM Anne Haast (2391) is on 0/4 and will play her 5th GM (correction - TODAY, not tomorrow). Last year she "only scored 4.0/13, but that was good enough to win 10 rating points". This year's Challengers is stronger and she will be lucky to do as well.

Edit: It's not a rest day in the Challengers today!
