I'm no stickler for the rules. If I was playing Kramnik and his mobile phone went off I wouldn't be too bothered. But even I wouldn't be happy about what he did on move 35.

Kramnik thought the position was just completely won, but was a bit surprised when he glanced at a computer evaluation and saw that it didn't award White as large an advantage as he expected.

In the context isn't he just explaining that after the game had been completed, he checked back what the computer engines had been saying? If he was giving the interview in a commentary room, he probably had the position with the evaluation on a monitor in front of him. I'd agree that the word "later" should be inserted somewhere in the sentence.

Nigel's KIA idea against the Sicilian has turned into almost a genuine Kings Indian with reverse colours. There were classic Bronstein games in the Kings Indian with the structure of taking on d4 and advancing the a pawn, but currently it just looks as if he is tied down defending the d3 pawn. Still the Stockfish now has it as only a quarter pawn disadvantage.

Do we risk predicting another drawn match?
