Won by a strong Stockport team with Reeve, Siddall & Smith rotating on the top 3 boards
1. Stockport 1 15/ 20
2= Crusaders /Bolton 1 13/20
4= Tisa Mayfly /Great Lever 10.5/20
6.Manchester Social Chess Club 10/20
7.Manchester Manticores 9.5/20
8.Radcliffe 8.5/20
9. Bolton 2 5/20
Tisa Mayfly were from Eastern Europe
The only downside with 9 teams was that 1 team got a bye each round
Manticores beat Radcliffe and then Crusaders, but went downhill after lunch and were pleased to have the last round bye
