Grunting techniques for 2700+ players

Post by John Upham » Fri Jun 26, 2009 12:46 am

Is anyone aware of the new non-Soviet, Chinese and Indian schools of chess investigating grunting techniques for player development?

I'm considering trying out these methods in my local leagues and maybe extending them to 4NCL and congresses if successful.

Initially I will try a deep grunt when making my own moves but am considering a squeal of some kind when my opponent moves?

Your thoughts and views are appreciated.

This combined with intake of Ritalin should help enormously.
