Following nine rounds over two days of tough competition, clear winners emerged from both the U11 and the U19 competitions.

Congratulations therefore to the U11 girls from Eltham College

and to the U19 girls from North London Collegiate who are no strangers to success in this growing and popular competition organised by IM Andrew Martin and hosted by St. Catherine's School, Bramley.

It was a pleasure to be Chief Arbiter for this most friendly and sportingly fought competition and I'd like to thank Olivia Smithies for being Deputy Chief Arbiter and Ken and Christine Coates for being arbiters and to Berkshire Junior Chess Association for their equipment provision.
