Agreeing a draw because of time shortage when less than forty moves have been played isn't really necessary because they get an extra thirty minutes at move 40, so they only have to use the increment for a few moves. It does look as if Gawain was let off the hook.

It's a forcing line too, so I would expect someone of Gawain's opponents strength to be able to navigate 6 moves pretty easily on the increment there.

I thought that Adams still had some plus on board one, given Gawain's let-off I'm sure we will win the match even though it has been a far from auspicious performance from either side.

I can't find our women's team's games either. Presumably they will have to win some matches, including perhaps a surprise win, to make the "live" boards.

It's a pretty crap interface, in my technophile opinion.

Arrow keys work, but I think the focus has to be in the move list first. So click on move one then use left/right arrow keys.
