Ziaur Rahman
Ziaur Rahman (May-01-1974, - Jul-05-2024, 50 years old) who played in the London Classic and Hastings in 2013 and the British Championship in 1986 passed away after a heart attack during a game in the Bangladeshi Championship. Apparently his son Tahsin Tajwar Zia was on the next board to his father. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ziaur_Rah ... ss_player)

Re: Ziaur Rahman
A few years ago he and his son made history by both playing for Bangladesh at the Olympiad - the first ever such combo there.
RIP.
RIP.
