I'm about to add his obituary from the 1952 BCM. I cannot OCR myself as I need to obtain 1952 (and 1951) to plug holes in my BCM library.

Its a three page obit !

He certainly moved around the country as a Railway Clerk and it was nice that most of his family also worked for the Railway.

Careful investigation by Richard James suggests that MDB is Mabel Dorothy Barker, JHB’s niece in 6th Cross Road.
