So Bogdan's played a total of 46 moves in 3 drawn games. No doubt he'll be complaining on FaceBook later about how unfair it is that his Elo keeps going down.

The IM norm is 7, so he needs 1½ / 3.

For the current standings, please see the tournament website at http://bigslickchess.gingergm.com/.

The norms that are still possible are as follows:

GM section:

GM norm: Yang-Fan needs 2.5/3 and Lawrence 3/3
IM norm: Alex needs 1.5/3

IM section:

IM norm: Alan needs 1.5/3.

Alan Merry needs 0.5/2 for an IM norm in the IM section. In the GM section Yang-Fan needs 1.5/2 for a GM norm and Alex Longson needs 1/2 for an IM norm. Lawrence can no longer get his norm.

Yang-Fan has white v Longson & black v Franklin

Alan has white v Vogel & black v House.

Scores:

Yang-Fan Zhou 5.5/7
Gormally & Trent 4.5
Lalic & Longson 4
Arkell 3.5/6
Franklin 3
Panjwani 2/6
Radovanovic 2
Nemcova 1

IM section:

Merry 6.5/7,
Sarakauskas 5,
Rudd 4,
McClement 3.5,
House, Lyell & Meszaros 3,
Olsarova & Vogel 2.5,
Bates 1.5.
