At the bottom of the Board Index screen of the forum you will find the line:

Most users ever online was 333 on Wed Oct 05, 2016 7:21 pm

This is an extremely unusual and large number for this forum only ever normally seen in moments of high crisis and excitement, and not usually anywhere near this large. It might have been a spam or denial of service attack or someone who set up an automatic logon routine that looped ... I was just curious.

Not clear no but 700 kb/s plus is suspicious yes but for now I will just reset the figure.

I have made some configuration changes that hopefully will now reduce this rather silly effect.
