Outage

An issue with the service provider has meant a four hour outage due to a denial of service attack.

I hadn't realised that there would be such strong objection to my comments on the appointment of ECF Arbiters.

Linode as our service provider seems to be under attack worldwide as we speak.

It seems to be quite a widespread problem. Even the BBC has reported that their services are being disrupted.
Let's hope the authorities track down the culprit's and put them out of business.

Do not hold you breath.
The BBC issue this morning is of course unrelated to the ongoing Linode attack which is the forums service provider.

I would expect the problem to be ongoing for a while yet.
The BBC have had a problem, something isn't quite right with Three and here which is a Linode service.
