Cloudflare Changes
I have set every single security setting to 11 for this forum BUT this might have consequences with some false alerts it seems.
Please simply email me if you see anything unusual providing as much information as you can share.

Re: Cloudflare Changes
I was blocked from posting on here earlier with a Cloudflare message.
EDIT: and again, it was both times an attempted post in the Chess History section - how come I can post here but not there?

Yes probably - in a private email let me have the message and what you were posting please.Matt Mackenzie wrote: ↑Sat Jul 19, 2025 5:08 pmI was blocked from posting on here earlier with a Cloudflare message.
The pro version is doing a lot more checking specifically on cross site links - but if that checking is excessive I need to know.

Re: Cloudflare Changes
Ah right, my effort contained a link to chessgames.com post - let's see if cutting that out alters things.
EDIT: my suspicions were correct, I left that out of the reply and the message posted as normal.

But either way it should work - something strange is triggering it.Matt Mackenzie wrote: ↑Sat Jul 19, 2025 5:15 pmAh right, my effort contained a link to chessgames.com post - let's see if cutting that out alters things.
It is doing something additional I had not even heard of a few hours ago so tweaking will be needed.

Yes looking I assume BT broadband - only Cloudflare would have:
949110: Inbound Anomaly Score Exceeded
It is part of their OWASP system.

I will tweak this scoring system if and when the performance issues reduce.Matt Mackenzie wrote: ↑Sat Jul 19, 2025 5:15 pmAh right, my effort contained a link to chessgames.com post - let's see if cutting that out alters things.

Just tried adding a link as an edit in a post - no problem and link worked - have removed it.
