One to watch for the future?

Post by IM Jack Rudd » Mon Sep 13, 2010 10:22 pm

I'm going to cherish these wins I got against this guy when he was an U-10... because I have a feeling he may become a stronger player than me.

I have a feeling I may at a later date cherish the win I got a few weeks ago against one of England's representatives in Batumi, since although at the time his grade was identical to mine, I suspect it's going to end up rather higher (when I was his age I'd never even played a competitive game!). I think it would be a bit unfair to him to post it - yes, he had one shocking game but it clearly wasn't indicative of how well he can play, as he showed by winning all the rest of his games at that tournament.

Ah Theo Slade. he's a good player. i had a tough congress match against him. I won the match in the end with a nice tactic, but it certainly wasn't the easiest of matches.
