"The Under 11 tournament is a Qualifier for the England Junior Squad Trials". Andrew, should we assume that these are 'trials' for something other than the official (ECF-endorsed) England team?

Probably http://www.ncjs.co.uk/ which is chaired by Peter Purland. I don't think it is https://www.epsca.org.uk/ but it must be a bit confusing for parents with multiple organisations offering England places.

Yes - especially if the parents are bragging about their offspring playing for England, when they're not...
