European Youth rapid/blitz England medals

Post by Wadih Khoury » Thu Dec 30, 2021 2:57 pm

Congratulations to Sivanandan Bodhana who finished second in both the rapid and blitz U8G at the age of 6.

The event was OTB in Serbia.

Less than 6 months playing OTB and off to Serbia to play a European Championship in the middle of a pandemic. Sounds a bit full-on! But looks like the gamble paid off.

Yes, I think it was a gamble in terms of the pandemic. In terms of her chess ability though, I suspect it wasn't that much of a gamble, she seems very talented.

First equal in the rapid, as far as I'm concerned.
