The UKCC terafinal was held over the week end at Blenheim palace. A big congratulations to all participants and to the winners:

• U8 Keerthi Kumar Advait on 8.5/11 on tie break with Zhao George
• U10 Ellis Dicen (I had her as the favorite of the section) on 8/11 undefeated (lots of draws)
• U12: Frederick Gordon with 9/11, undefeated (and after a long drive from Hull)
• U14: Rajat Makkar on 10/11 equal with U14 champion Arjun Kolani, but with direct encounter win
• U18: Balaji Aaravamudhan on 9/11 on direct encounter tie break

Worth noting that UKCC moved away from the tournament structure of day 1 Swiss and day 2 direct elimination in favour of an 11 round all play all which seems quite fitting to fairly crown the UKCC champion.
