Interest for a Junior (U18) standard event

Post by Wadih Khoury » Mon Apr 26, 2021 8:53 pm

I'd like to gauge interest for an over the board event:
  • date: bank holiday event of the 29th of May
  • time: likely a 60+30. Would consider a 90+30 if 2 games per day
  • Legally must be under 18 players.
  • Sections would depend on the field and range from a single section to 4 sections max, 32 players total.
  • ECF, not FIDe rated.
  • Location: either Oxford or Henley (if someone knows a great and cheap venue in the Berkshire/Oxfordshire area, please PM me. Ideally needs to be accessible from both London and Midlands)

No chance of my taking part but I'll sound out the club juniors, four of whom took part in yesterday's Oxford event.
