Champions' League Chess

CCF has never really pushed this event outside of our own circles, but we have for over a decade, been running a growing school team competition. This has mainly been at Primary School level, although we have recently started a new Infant School event, to try and encourage younger players to have a crack in a "non-threatening" environment. We are likely to be increasing it to 4 regions as of this year - teams play in their regions for the Autumn and Spring Terms with the best teams reaching the various finals in the Summer term. We would be pleased to hear from any coaches or school teachers who would be interested in linking up. We primarily operate in Kent, Middlesex and Surrey but are beginning to touch into Sussex. However, should there be enough interest from other areas of the country, we would be pleased to work with people who would like to work with us. www.championsleaguechess.co.uk
