From the link
Apart from players’ laptops, no electronic devices will be permitted in the playing area, and as well as checks of players’ laptops, normal ‘over-the-board’ Fair Play enforcement procedures will also be in force. Players will be required to be on Zoom throughout their games, sharing the laptop screen. While we expect the hotel’s WiFi connection to fully support streaming for all players, we would ask players to ensure they have their own WiFi hotspot/portable internet connection available as backup in case of emergency.
I would have thought the "backup in case of emergency" requirement conflicts with the "no electronic devices" requirement. How else would a player provide their own WiFi hotspot other than with a suitably configured mobile phone?

I believe the Mecure Daventry Court Hotel cancelled at short notice due to Covid restrictions, but another venue has been found.

Just been looking at the results.

Don't like to single out players from the Edinburgh Tiger Cubs but the 10 year lad lad named in the link below is something else.

Outgraded in every game P.9 w5. L4. I've not seen the games yet but I 'd bet a few of those losses
could have been drawn but he tried to win them. I will not be talking him out of that habit. (Little Larsen is an apt nickname.)
All they get from me is, hopefully, an infectious love for the game and how to set and have faith in the two move trap!

Well done everyone, but most of all to the organisers.
