Thank you, David. It was a great success with 54 children online for up to four hours, taking lessons and playing chess at an appropriate level. With due attention paid to safeguarding and online privacy.

We hope to double the numbers next week.

Naturally a lot of things to improve, already on the case.

Considerable thanks also to the ECF, Mike Truran, Nigel Towers and Malcolm Peacock with their welcome sage advice; to Sarah Hegarty and Alex Longson, also for their advice and contacts; to Mike Klein from chesskid.com putting up with all my dumb questions; to various staff from Zoom, chess.com and lichess.org, likewise.

To the staff at Richmond Juniors, David Okike and Jim Stevenson for pushing me hard to implement, for Shahanah Schmid for fielding questions from parents, and for keeping us all sane, for Adam Taylor (the other one) for his in-depth knowledge of chess.com, for Sorin Atanasiu, Mark Josse and Aga Milewska for running such excellent classes.

And to the parents. For their patience, loyalty and bottomless support.

Thank you all.
