Re: West London Chess Academy
Again, around 35 juniors attended the second WLCA session on 8 May. We'll be missing star names, such as Tanmay, for the next session on 22 May but I'II be joined by two well-respected local coaches in Ray Sayers (Bucks Youth) and Matt Ball (St Albans). There are currently six participating organisations (Bucks Youth and the Harrow, Maidenhead, St Albans, Uxbridge and Watford clubs) and the coaching is geared to juniors whose ratings exceed 100 x age (minimum 1000). We're open to expanding this in the medium term but, as matters stand, space considerations mean that each organisation can nominate only 6 or 7 juniors on average to any given session.
