What is that updated "Encyclopedia Of Chess Games" - basically a rehash of the 1981 version, or something more?

"Originally published as "Oxford Encyclopedia of Chess Games: Volume 1: 1485-1866". Volume 2 was never published, so the title has been shortened to "Oxford Encyclopedia of Chess Games". This encyclopedia set out to publish all the important games of chess which have been played since the modern laws came into force in the late 1400s."Matt Mackenzie wrote: ↑Sat Aug 28, 2021 3:15 pmWhat is that updated "Encyclopedia Of Chess Games" - basically a rehash of the 1981 version, or something more?

Full justice may not have been done to Kevin's service within FIDE for over forty years. He was a QC member for many years ( I presume one of the diligent ones ) and was Chairman before I even knew of the organisation's existence. More recently he has done a huge amount of work within Chess in Schools, where he remains Honorary Chairman and Secretary.
