"“Lose Yourself” by Enimem was number one."

Any relation to Eminem?

Am most grateful and doff my cap to your superior knowledge of popular beat combos. Perhaps you could help this place with an appraisal of what I am reliably informed are called "Rappers"?

Certainly, My Lord. I understand they are performers who rely on a backing track of pre-recorded music and speak in a rather strange staccato manner, which they claim is singing. Eminem, known formerly as Marshall Mathers (M and M), was pre-eminent (or perhaps pre-eminement, ho ho ho) in this genre of young people's entertainment. His tracks "Stan" and "Like Toy Soldiers" are possibly his finest performances.

BCN poster boy (that's him on the right, in the photo at the head of their page).
"The chess-board is the world ..... the player on the other side is hidden from us ..... he never overlooks a mistake, or makes the smallest allowance for ignorance."
(He doesn't let you resign and start again, either.)
