From tonymrcorfe email dated 15/09/20

Today I have spoken with the manager of the Lysses House Hotel at Fareham. Nikki had spoken with NHS England who have confirmed that the new government guidance prohibits the running of events like the one which Castle Chess is trying to organise. The comment passed back to us was that it looked like we had planned in our risk assessment for everything that was possible to do to keep everyone safe.
So with regret, we must announce that the Fareham Event has been cancelled.
In consultation with Nikki I have pencilled a booking for the weekend 12th – 14th March 2021

Sorry for the short notice. The following two events were removed from the Irish Chess Union website Calendar, I assume they have been cancelled.
I sent an email to the event organiser a while back but had no response.
4th-6th December The CUS Chess Congress 2020 in Dublin.
6th December The CUS Charity Christmas Blitz in Dublin.

Unlikely to surprise anyone, but the 2021 East Devon in the Exeter Corn Exchange has been formally cancelled. Usually it's late February or early March and the 2020 event was one of the last English events held.
