So after the first three moves, Black went ?, ok, ??, ?!, ?!, checkmate. These computers aren't easy to please.
you are talking about Keiths game obviously- forgive my obvious stupidity- i never realised chess960 had engines, how good are they???

Presumably as good as normal chess engines, they wouldn't know the difference.

Presumably at least some "normal" chess engines can be adapted for 960?

Open the game you want to upload, click on copy game, paste into the forum post and then add "pgn" with "[]" either side of "pgn" at the start and the same at the end. I just tried that from Chessbase 16 so hope it works with your version.

I have now uploaded this game in an intelligible form by deleting all commentary. Unfortunately the system is not permitting me to delete this post for some reason. I thought one could always delete one's own posts but apparently not.

Thanks. Did all that but it doesn't seem to have come out quite right.

I'd create a PGN database in ChessBase (e.g. temp.pgn), copy the game to that database and then open temp.pgn with a text editor. Copy and paste the contents of that file between pgn tags. Note that the closing pgn tag should have a / in it. Click on the pgn button above (when editing) to see what it should look like.

A very sharp game that ends in a draw, which I played in correspondence recently.
It contains a rare example of the "immortal sacrifice" motif, i.e. the sacrifice of both rooks along the back rank, and moreover is followed by another sacrifice a few moves later. I was compelled to give up the queen to stave off mate.
Another curiosity in the game is Black castling with a White knight on f7. Again must be very rare.

I have managed to upload the game properly at last. I had to delete all commentary to enable it. Tried to delete the previous mangled post but it won't allow me to.

If you are really bothered, you can edit it down to "comment deleted" or just a full stop.
