Hampshire Chess Congress & Hampshire Individual Championship

The annual Hampshire Chess Congress & Hampshire Individual Championships will take place from Friday 23rd to Sunday October 25th 2026 at the Lysses House Hotel, 51 High Street, Fareham, Hampshire.
There are the normal three sections, although this year all three will be ECF and FIDE rated. Entries are limited to 90 places, and we have an additional 260 square feet this year.
Open - Open to all (but limited to 38 entries)
Major - Under 1850 ECF rated (or U1850 Fide if no ECF rating)
Minor - Under 1600 ECF rated (or U1600 Fide if no ECF rating)
The overall congress prize money has been increased to £1,750 with the entry fee remaining the same as last year (no free tea/coffee this year)
