I've been informed by Nigel Hepworth that numbers are on a par with last year at 330 entrants.
Top seed is GM Danny Gormally.
I'm playing in the Minor.

When I am looking on chess results these annoying full page adverts fill the screen. Why?

At the risk of sounding facetious, it's because you don't have an ad blocker installed in your browser. Without knowing more about your device/OS/browser, I can't advise further on how to remedy it.
