The ECF Calendar now has a date, if not a place, for the ECF 2023 Seniors. Two sections over 50 and over 65.

Thursday 4 May Rd 1 – 17.30 – 21.00
Friday 5 May Rd 2 – 10.00 – 14.00; Rd 3 – 16.00 – 20.00
Saturday 6 May Rd 4 – 16.00 – 20.00 (round time flexible/ TBC)
Sunday 7 May Rd 5 – 10.00 – 14.00, Rd 6 – 16.00 – 20.00
Bank Holiday Monday 8 May Rd 7 – 11.00 – 15.00

The Saturday is Coronation day.

Congratulations to Roger on his results today in the Shropshire Open, where he drew with top seeded 2330-rated IM John Cox, and had a three-round performance rating of 2222. Good luck for rounds 4 and 5 tomorrow.
