I though of Keith earlier this week, in a club match. I reached a four bishop ending where neither side had any visible advantage and the game would at that level routinely be agreed drawn. However, I remembered arriving at a similar ending against Keith in some rapid event decades ago.
I was congratulating myself on getting that far, but for him the game was still in its early stages, so he just kept playing moves until he won - I decided I would do the same. Since I, shall we say, lack Keith's full technique, my approach carried some danger, but on this occasion it met with success.
