Qualification to the British Championship includes:
Section F – Qualification from the British Championship Qualifying Grand Prix The rules for the Grand Prix can be found in a separate document. Players’ scores in the British Grand Prix are determined based on an aggregate points system, with points awarded for players’ results across all Open FIDE-rated tournaments held in England, Guernsey, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Scotland, Ulster, Wales between 1st August 2019 and 31st May 2022.
But the Grand Prix page says it has not resumed. Is this qualification route dead then or the page simply needs to be updated.
Also, I am not sure I understand the calculation method:
In a Standard Play event the member’s Grand Prix points are calculated as – percentage score in the event, with any fraction of a percent ignored; plus the number of games played in that event (up to a maximum of 11).
So if you get 50% in a 9 round event, you score 0.5+9=9.5 points?
Or 50+9=59 points?
Finally where can we see the current leaderboard and the likely cutoff required?
