Events in 2022
Anyone know of any domestically that are provisionally taking place?
I know of a few myself which I would like to share in this new topic.

I shall be very disappointed if the Pimlico Summer Tournament does not return in July, but that is still a long way off.

I've found more events, which I will post Topics for, over the next few days.
I might need some help from Forum members to add on the attachments for entry forms.

Re: Events in 2022
Got some blurb to go with Arnav's information via an email I received from the organiser:
Dear Congress Player,
The 2022 Frome Congress is now less than 3 weeks away and with 175 entrants already signed up it’s looking like a bumper year!
Due to the size of the venue, we are limited to 200 entrants; and with over three quarters of those places already taken there is every chance that we’ll be at full capacity.
If you haven’t already got your entry in then to avoid disappointment please don’t delay. Entries received after the 3rd of May will also incur a £3 late entry fee, so that’s another reason to book your spot soon.
When the maximum number of entries are received, the tournament will be made unavailable for further entries and a waiting list will be run in case of a cancellation. Please email the organisers to get your name on this list, in this instance.
It is looking increasingly likely that there will be no Government Covid restrictions in place at the time of the congress. Mask wearing will be entirely a matter of personal choice for all players and congress organisers.
In the unlikely event of a change in the official Government guidance between now and May 13th this would of course be reviewed.
If you have any questions at all about this year's congress then please don't hesitate to contact us at [email protected]
We look forward to seeing you soon
Kind Regards
Chris Lamming

Just came back after playing the Congress - it was quite a lot of fun. Not sure how to view the results though - they don't seem to be on ChessResults.com

Not all events use chess-results.com. This link should be of assistance. Frome 2022 results accessible from the centre of a menu at the top of the page.
