The ECF have hinted that they may be running a "Major Open" sometime next year. The idea being to act as a qualifier for the 2022 British as well as a tournament in its own right. There is an advert in the latest New in Chess for a “Battle of the Sexes” tournament there Jan 24 - Feb 3. No further details, but presumably a small scale invitational man vs woman tournament, replacing the large scale Open.
