25th 4ncl Congress!

Post by Nick Burrows » Fri Feb 26, 2021 6:09 pm

Email from 4ncl:

I’m very pleased to say that we’ve booked 4-star conference centre hotel Woodland Grange in Leamington Spa for our 25th 4NCL Congress on 9-11 July 2021. This will be our first OTB 4NCL congress since the start of 2020 if restrictions are indeed lifted on 21 June as we all hope.

The venue looks very good - you can find further details here: https://www.woodlandgrange.com/.

As the proverb has it, ‘There’s many a slip ‘twixt cup and lip’, but on the (possibly heroic) assumption that restrictions will ease as HM Government hopes over the next few months we’ll be publishing information, entry forms etc on the 4NCL website once we have our organisational ducks in a row.

Very good news. Congrats to Mike Truran and his team for being first out of the traps.

For those who hadn't noticed - Guaranteed Events are taking bookings 01656 747-700. I made mine today and apparently about thirty others have already done the same, four months before a clock has started - that's a positive sign - and at a very reasonable £69 per night for a double room for sole occupancy. Get ready!

Are entries for congresses such as the "July 4NCL" going to need to be residents / guests at the hotel?

That's never been the case in the past, but who knows what restrictions will be placed on a weekend gathering of 100 or more in residential conference facilities?
