Manchester Summer Congress.....Reminders

Hi,
Below I`ve listed details of this years Manchester Congress....with an additional section for players graded U110....so now caters better for players of all standards....and improved prize fund. See also, details of accommodation `package` available close to venue.
As an aside....the venue at Allan Hall is opposite Platt Fields Park, which is holding a Summer Fair on the Saturday 13th......quite good picnic area also, if the weather improves!!

University Accommodation available

ENTRY FEE £23. Late entry fees Postmarked or emailed after Sunday July 8 £2. Entries on the day £5. Phone entries are not accepted. Please use email or mail.

Withdrawal. If you tell us before Friday July 13 we will refund your entry fee. ACCOMMODATION Accommodation is available at Owens Park. A university hall of residence adjacent to the venue. The price is £33 per night including full English breakfast. Accommodation must be booked and paid for before Saturday June 30th. You can also stay Thursday and Sunday nights.

A £2 admin charge will be levied on all prizes not collected at the prizegiving and posted on.
RE-PAIRING Made 30 minutes after the round starts for all players with no opponent.
MOVE RATE 40 moves in 100 minutes, then 20 minutes quickplay.
REFRESHMENTS Light refreshments will be available.
TOURNAMENT CONDITIONS No smoking in the venue. No live mobiles in the playing hall. The organisers decision is final in all disputes. We reserve the right to refuse entries without stating a reason.
VENUE Allen Hall. A University Hall of Residence. It is 3 miles south of the City centre on the corner of Wilmslow Road and Cromwell Range. It has a comfortable lounge / analysis room.
GRADING The tournament will be ECF graded. In protest at the ECF’s decision to make game fee payers ineligible for the Grand Prix, this event will not form of the ECF grand prix.
DIRECTIONS By Car. From the South take the A34 into Manchester. Follow the A34 as it turns left at a roundabout then 80 yards later go straight on at the mini roundabout into Moseley Road. Turn right at the lights into Wilmslow Road and Cromwell Range is 500yds on the right. From the North, West and East get onto A57M (the Manchunian way) and exit south down the A34. 2.3 miles down the A34 you come to the mini roundabout mentioned above and turn right into Moseley Road.
Public Transport If convenient arrive at Manchester Oxford Road station. Cross Oxford Road and get a bus Nos. 41-45 to Owens Park Hall of Residence (about 2.5 miles). Allen Hall is 100 yds before the stop.
