Nice review. I do like Sosonko's books, so will probably get this one at some point.

Great game from Igor V. Ivanov (Ivanov-Zaltsman, September 1983, New York). Double exchange sacrifice followed by a queen sacrifice. Two pieces and pawns against a rook and queen from move 33, but just look at those pawns!

What do people here think about Sosonko's books in general?

Funnily enough, just happened to play through that game recently.

(its in Chess Informant 36, though in their collective wisdom they didn't deem it one of the 10 best in that volume)
