The Iron English
It's the Botvinnik plan with c4, e4, Nc3, Nge2, g3 , Bg2.

It's been around for decades, the problem facing Black being whether to allow it on the grounds that you know what's coming, or to attempt to dodge it and if so how.

Players of it may adopt a 1. c4 2. g3 order. This avoids the sequence 1. c4 Nf6 2. Nc3 d5. If facing one of the players of an early g3, forcing them into something else with 1. c4 b6 can be a temptation. The review comments that the book suggests a transposition to anti Caro after 1. c4 c6 2. e4. I wonder what it reckons for 1. c4 b6. I suppose 2. e4 could again be suggested.
