I don't understand "pre-reviewed". Decision Making in Major Piece Endings was published in the last week of September 2020. I bought my copy and it arrived then.

I have only glanced through it so far as I also bought a few other books at the same time (including the other one by Gelfand, Technical Decision Making in Chess) and they are all competing with Arkell's Endings for my limited chessboard time. It does look excellent but very hard work in places.
You really need two chessboards side by side to do justice to these books, one for the main line and one for the detailed variations.

Tim,

You are quite right and I misunderstood the publication date incorrectly.

According to Amazon :
This title will be released on April 28, 2021.
led me astray.

Thanks for the correction. I passed this book to Richard Webb to review since I felt it was the right book for him and that I would not do it justice.

You can buy Boris Gelfand's books as ebooks - which makes it a lot easier to play through the variations!

However no sign of a similar ebook for Keith's book yet.

This sounds like an excellent book.
I think Boris is still Israel's strongest player.
