British 65+ Championship 2017

Post by Kevin Thurlow » Mon Jul 31, 2017 2:51 pm

Good to see my old Redhill colleagues Richard Bryant, Nick Skinner and Brian Valentine in action. Good luck!

There are a few team-mates from elsewhere as well and I have played well over half the field at some stage, so I am not wishing them bad luck!

Having noted on another thread that the British 50+ has 20 players over 2000 compared to the major open with 10 players. It is great to see 20 65+ over 2000.
And even those below are good players.
Perhaps playing in the seniors is the way to go and there is I thinking I'm a young player and will be 55 next month.

Best wishes to my London League team mates Steve and Roger, as well as CSC: Maurice, Vincent and Mike.

Nice to see Mr Young leading the Major Open too. A few seniors playing there against loads of juniors.
