English Seniors Championships 2025

As my own performance is nothing to boast about I am mentioning this tournament just before today's last round at 11 a.m..
I am enjoying my stay at the venue, the Holiday Inn at Kenilworth. It is conveniently in the town centre right by varied shops and eating houses. I prefer this to an isolated site near a motorway junction. I played in the very first English Seniors in 2008, organised in the Peak District by Neil Graham. it was won by Andrew Whiteley and the first prize was £1000, thanks to some mystery donor, I believe. Today it's £500. The tournament has missed some years but now thankfully seems to be firmly established.
Round 7 top pairings
O-65
Paul Townsend(5) Geoffrey Moore(4)
Ivan Myall(4.5) Paul Littlewood(4.5)
Stephen Dilleigh(4.5) Chris Baker(4.5)
Ian Snape(4) Tim Spanton(4)
O-50
Stephen Dishman(4.5) Nigel Davies(4)
Peter Wells(4.5) Mark Hebden(4)
Philip Crocker(3.5) Martin Burrows(4)
