Today looks like the last good opportunity for the leaders, USA, to slip up.
Which they duly did.
This result makes the silver medal spot more problematic.
Agreed, albeit we have been out of the medal positions since round 4 so any medal will seem like a good salvage job.

Oh, but only four titled opponents. That's a pity.

If chess-results are correct then the final placings are:

50+

Final Ranking after 9 Rounds
Rk. SNo Team Games + = - TB1 TB2 TB3
1 1 USA 9 7 1 1 15 26 0
2 2 England 1 9 6 2 1 14 24,5 0
3 5 Iceland 9 6 2 1 14 24 0
4 3 Italy 9 6 2 1 14 23,5 0

Edited to correct link.

England 1 secured a silver medal when Gary Clark (England 2) held a difficult ending against their key rival Iceland 1. This completed a great day for England Women, who had their contenders from China being whitewashed by England 1 That opened the door for them to grab the Womens gold. (China's minder was not amused.)

England 1 65+ also got silver
