I'm confused (not unusual I know). The feed I'm following has all four games still in progress.Leonard Barden wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 4:11 pmNot in the script for England 1...
Emms 0-1 Frostick, Hebden 0.5 Duncan, Short a pawn down in the ending to Dishman, only Adams has a slight edge against Flear. 2-2 at best at the moment......

Yesterday whilst watching all of the games switched temporarily with another match. Perhaps the same happened to Leonard?

Yes, that's what happened. The positions I viewed with the England 1 players down the drain have now all been transferred to the Hungary v Israel match, and substituted by the much better positions which Lawrence is viewing. Seems that might be going to be a regular hazard for spectating this event.

The match is very much alive though. Short is worse and Hebden sightly worse as we speak.

England 1 smashed by England 2
going to be 3-1 or maybe 3.5 - 0.5
blows the competition wide open!

I HAVE TO REWRITE MY POST BECAUSE A WRONG RESULT WAS POSTED, I CAN SEE THE ISSUES LEONARD HAD EARLIER.Martin Crichton wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 5:44 pmEngland 1 smashed by England 2

At 5.45pm it said Short (who admittedly looked in poor shape earlier) had won for England 1. Now it seems the game continues
Emms lost to Frostick (this was originally posted the other way).
Hebden drew since my original post so it's 1.5-1.5
But I'm not sure I cna believe anything shown on this website.

No, that is what was showing when I posted five minutes ago. Actually Short is playing, P down in R ending, Adams lost, Hebden drew.LawrenceCooper wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 5:49 pmShort & Emms have won, Adams drew and Heb is a pawn up.Nick Burrows wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 4:36 pmThe match is very much alive though. SO England 2 have won the match as Martin said.

In the 65+ (if we can believe the website) Nunn and Littlewood drew, Povah won, against a German team. Snape is pressing but a lot of play left.
Israel have beaten Hungary with one game still running.
To win gold medals in these tournaments, the England 1 team will have to beat their main rivals (USA and Israel respectively) and even that will probably not be enough in the case of the 50+ team.

I'm fairly confident in what I posted, not least because all the openings matched what I would expect from the four pairings.Tim Harding wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 5:54 pmNo, that is what was showing when I posted five minutes ago. I'm with you. England 1 won the match, and Hebden is also winning.LawrenceCooper wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 6:31 pmI'm fairly confident in what I posted, not least because all the openings matched what I would expect from the four pairings.

Re: World Senior Teams 19 to 30 June 2022
It now shows Adams drew, Short and Emms won and Hebden still playing which sounds more reasonable.
