I am very sorry to report that John Wilkinson passed away recently.
John played in the Southampton and Portsmouth leagues for many years and had previously won the Hampshire (1964), Portsmouth (2001/02), (2017/18) and Southampton Individual Championships (8 times from 1963 to 2018).
As well as being a strong player, John was a real gentleman who was well liked by everyone who met him.
