GM Petr Neuman (1978-2025)

The sad news has been reported that Czech Grandmaster Petr Neuman passed away suddenly at the beginning of May 2025, at the age of just 47.
Petr was born on 11th March 1978, he became an International Master in 2002 and achieved the Grandmaster title in 2013. His last rating was 2393 and his peak rating of 2522 was achieved in June 2013.
The weekend before his sudden passing, Petr played for Bad Mergentheim in this season's German Bundesliga, back in April, Petr also played in the Dublin Easter Norm event.
In the Bundesliga, Petr drew against Grandmasters Sergei Movsesian and Yagiz Kaan Erdogmus.
I believe that Petr was also a regular player in the Czech Tour.
