I am sorry to inform you that Paul Stanley passed away back in December 2023.
Paul was a long-standing member of the Purbeck Chess Club in Dorset.
He was captain of the clubs' C-team and a very liked and valued member of the club, driving the team away to league matches.
Paul was a member of the Swanage Chess Cafe and cycled regularly from Swanage to Corfe Castle for chess.
