I am sorry to inform you that Jim Jackson has died after a long illness.
Jim was Charlton Chess Club's deputy chairman and a club member for many years.
He was a team captain and longstanding members of Charlton Chess Club will remember the regular lifts from Charlton House to away matches in his black cab.
His funeral will be on Tuesday 31st October 2023, 11am at Eltham Crematorium, Crown Woods Way, SE9 2AZ.
There will be a wake afterwards at Sidcup & Foots Cray United Services Club, 108 Main Road, Sidcup, DA14 6NE.
